Instructor - Sensei Tina-Lee Viskovich

Tina-Lee Viskovich commenced training 14 years ago under Shihan Dennis May at the Henderson Dojo.

She has trained in Okinawa and Tokyo and in 1999 while training at the Jundokan received personal instruction from Grand Master Eiichi Miyazato and Grand Master Iha.

She was graded 3rd Dan directly by Miyazato Sensei 10th Dan.

Tina-lee has been 4 times National New Zealand Senior Kata Champion, New Zealand Open Champion and Trans-Tasman Kumite and Kata Champion. She has been a member of the New Zealand National Team attending 2 x Senior WKF World Championships (Brazil & Germany ), 1 x Junior/Cadet WKF World Championships (Bulgaria), 1 x Woman's World Cup (Tokyo).

In 1999 she won the New Zealand Karate Sports Woman of the Year award - Presented by Hon. Trevor Mallard, Minister of Sports (shown below)

Tina-Lee has been a coach for our NZOKGA members at numerous New Zealand, Australia and Oceania Championships.
